I'm not a fan of KOA, but at the end of a 500 mile day, I was ready to stop for the night. To my surprise and amazement, this CG is a jewel. It is just off I-20, yet the road sounds are muffled. There is free Wi-Fi and 65 channels of cable TV if you don't want to use satellite. The pull throughs were plenty long for big rigs and there is comfortable spacing between sites. My only complaint is that on my site, the distance between my sewer hose and the dump was too far for me to reach. However, this is not the case at all the sites. Other than that, the sites were level (gravel) and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

This CG is a classic case that less is more. It has everything I needed plus added a drop dead gorgeous view of the surrounding area from almost 7,800' elevation. The sites were on gravel, but level and fairly close together, but not uncomfortably so. Several folks choose to spend their summers here, so sites can be at a premium at various times. The owner is very accommodating and takes care of "his" campers.

This is my second year here so I'm a tad prejudiced. If you are 55+, this is the place for you. The campsites are concrete (level), with a "patio", well treed and grass between all sites. The Wi-Fi is excellent as two repeaters have been installed this year. Most of the "campers" are seasonal and return every year, a testament to the owners and their desire to cater to our whims and needs. A large community garden, started and maintained by the campers, serves not only the park, but also the senior center in town. Afternoon "tea" is every day at 5pm for those who wish to socialize with their neighbors. Frequent pot lucks and other culinary delights are fun and interesting. Kids are allowed, but only as visitors. It is a great place to "home base" while sightseeing the Black Canyon, Grand and Blue mesas, Uncompahgre Forest, Ouray/Red Mountain Pass, etc. If I could rate any place as an 11, this would be the place.

Spent one night on my yearly trip to Colorado. It is a very good deal for the money. No problems with anything in this CG, great staff, very helpful.

Certainly a good KOA. Routing is a little difficult at times, but otherwise ok. Trees on route around CG could stand trimming so be careful when going to your site with a big rig. Great wifi and satellite coverage.

Rate based on monthly stay, nightly rate is $43. This is a hard place to rate as it lists itself as a resort. If it was a "Park" instead of a "Resort", I'd rate it higher. The web site portrays a MUCH nicer place than it really is, although I have no major complaints. It is located within a 1/2 mile from the entrance to Mesa Verde NP. We occupied one of the premium back-in sites for which we paid a premium price. The sites are all gravel, mostly level. Our site was within 200' of a VERY busy road and it was noisy all the time. It advertised a heated pool - it was not. The ponds advertised were used for sewage as told to me by the office lady when I asked if I could fish there. A little TLC could take care of the non-existent hiking trail and the weeds around the premium back-in sites. We never saw more than 10 RVs in the "resort" at any one time leading me to wonder how it can stay open. It has a sister park in Dolores which is very nice and has many more visitors. It seems like all I'm doing is complaining and I apologize for that. But, here is a place that could easily be a 9 or 10 with more care and a little more honesty in advertising. Still in all, I recommend staying here and I would do so myself in the future.

This park is a very pleasant surprise as I really didn't expect much based on the location. However, the check-in was quick and efficient, the site perfectly level and easy to get to and everything works as advertised with the Wi-Fi being excellent. Although close to the interstate as the crow flies, we aren't bothered by the minimal noise. There is a gift shop and small restaurant also associated with the park, both added bennies. I will absolutely stay here my next trip from home to Colorado and return.

If you like no frills, yet long, level sites with great water pressure and no highway noise, this place is for you. This was an overnight stop and easy off and back on the interstate. Don't expect anything extra, just a good site for an overnight. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I drove through this park as it had not been rated in some time. I spoke with the camp hosts to get the figures of $35 nightly. She also stated that monthly rates were from $425 - $475 plus electric. All the sites are on gravel as there is no grass in the CG and there is adequate spacing between the sites. The higher priced sites directly back up to the river. The location is on the far south end of Montrose and is perfect for using as a base for sightseeing. From first blush, this is a park that I would recommend to others.

Daily rate is average of monthly rate. This is an ideal place for those over 55 who desire a quiet environment in a beautiful setting. The owners keep the place in immaculate condition with regard to beauty and cleanliness. The sites are all on concrete pads with a concrete "patio" adjoining them and they are all perfectly level. Wifi is fast and stable. Cell phone reception is excellent (Verizon) all the time. Water pressure is excellent and the electricity is stable. What a great place to stay!

We used a FHU site and had to really look hard to find one that we could level our MH. The first time our front wheels were 12" off the ground. The sites are long but rather slim, gravel with moderate space between each site. The CG is located directly behind the casino and is easy to walk back and forth, thus being able to use the facilities (gambling, food, etc) that are offered. The CG could use a little TLC, but all in all I'd camp here again.

This is what a campground should be like. Very clean, good sites, great friendly staff, clean and ample room. Trees near the sites aren't intrusive. Free Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. They have a free continental breakfast every day and organize frequent events for the campers. My only complaint is that the dog park was nothing more than dirt. I definitely recommend this park to others and will return again.

A nice park on the west side of Lubbock with all the amenities required. Not a fancy place, but very neat and tidy with a friendly staff. Easy in, easy out, pretty quiet despite being fairly close to Loop 289. I'll camp there again and recommend it to others.

This park is somewhat unique in that, given its' location, it has amenities lacking at most campgrounds, i.e., adjacent to a golf course, allows dogs to be on a leash anywhere in the cg to do it's business, great wifi. It also is affiliated with a good size gas station and gives discounts on gas, a 2 for 1 deal at Blimpies, and others. Green River is a stopping point, not a destination, so the area is fairly dead. Still the campground does everything it can with what it has and is not a bad deal although it is more expensive than one would expect to pay for a site in the middle of nowhere. A warning to pet owners - grass burrs abound! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is a campground, not a resort, despite what it's name indicates. It is in the process of an ambitious upgrade that will take some time and effort, but in the meantime, the primary portion of the camping area is OK. The sites are just wide and long enough to handle a 40' MH and TOAD and reasonably level. This being Moab, the views are incredible. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. The area we parked could use some TLC but that may be going by the wayside as the "high dollar" section is being built. If it were me in charge, I'd try to make sure the entry area - where most of the campers are - on the way to the lots that are for sale was upgraded and kept neat and clean.

We have been here a number of times and have been pleased every time. Although there are a substantial number of long termers, they are in a separate area and the entire park is well maintained. It may be tricky to maneuver if you have a big rig, but it can be done. There is adequate room between sites and most have some grass adjoining. Some of the sites are not level, but most are. The WiFi is good (I'm using it now) and steady. Despite being close to I-35, noise doesn't seem to be a problem. With the dearth of RV parks in the Dallas area, this one stands out.

Nice private, gated park with recreation hall, two swimming pools, laundry, WiFi, friendly staff (mostly volunteers) with a beautiful views of Canyon Lake. Sites are level and not too close together. This is a membership park, although you can camp there using Passport America or Coast to Coast. Deer are abundant and regularly fed by inhabitants. Quiet place to camp.
